Food: Fish and drink were alright, but pasta is real bad, taste like it hasn’t been fully cooked, it is literally the worst pasta I’ve ever tried, the dessert was ok but macaroon was way too hard to bite. Service: very rude and unfriendly waitress, tbh I don’t know why this place get such high rating and popularity. The restaurant was only about 30-40% seated, so don’t know why the waitress is so rude.Meal cost about $100 which wasn’t too expensive but u might as well go somewhere else for better food and service.
Came here for my 20th birthday a few months back & ordered the hapuku for my main & another prawn dish for my appetiser (forgot which one & didnt take a photo ) + white wine. This place is really nice & I love the ambience of the restaurant. all aspects of the dish was amazing – the fish was cooked to perfection and was moist & not dry!! The customer service was really good too. Obviously a lot more expensive as it is fine dining but worth the price
Soul bar sits down in the auckland viaduct nestled among a few other decent venues. The outdoor seating would be fantastic in summer but rather loud in winter with the shades down. Go inside if you are looking for less volume. Food was great both the beef fillet and mac and cheese were well put together. Service was very good.
