This is my local – low key casual bar right in the heart of the city. Super cheap drinks on a Friday all night – $5 wine, $4 Heineken and $7 pizza, ya cant go wrong!
Staff are nice, cheap beer you can argue with that. The food is average (the pizza and wedges were good, the wings weren’t), overall the place is average, probably just return for cheap beers.
I enjoyed having a few 5 dollar Heinekens in this dusty little hovel. Kia kaha. Good wedges to boot. It’s an Auckland must visit. Top quality service, a bit of banter. Disappointed with price increases but hey. It’s cheap. Words do not do this palace of virtuosity justice, but I will try. Where to start, this place makes the French Cafe look like a Thai brothel….friendly staff, great food, good vibes and tasty drinks, what more could one ask for?
