Been coming here for years, owner has become part the family and amazing service the food is always bang on and best value for money!!! Super clean and organised! A must visit
Food Alley! Cult dining spot for a majority of the professionals within the CBD, Taro Teppanyaki doesn’t disappoint with its Bento boxes. For $13 you get a substantial amount of meat, salad that’s dripped in dressing and a bowl of packet miso soup. Surprisingly tasty, I would recommend this lunch spot if you’re after something filling.Showstopper: Good food and great pricing, what’s not to like.Overall Grade: B+
They have really good prices , are in a weird area though and the surrounding food places and tables arent the prettiest !The food average but yum
Recently found this gem on level 2 of Food Alley! Students get $1 off, which makes the value of the meal fantastic. I’ve eaten here twice, two weeks in a row. The first time, I had the fish box – which was so good! Portion for the fish box was massive (as you can tell from the photo) so I took away some for lunch the next day. $10 for two meals, student deal – YES PLEASE. The chef/owner was super friendly! There’s sometimes only one or two of them, but service is quick. The second time, I had the beef box. It’s alright, not my favourite – but it wasn’t bad at all. The bentos usually come with a bowl of miso soup, a salad on the side, 2 spring rolls and 2 fried potato/sweet potato! My friend and I absolutely loved the fried potatoes!! Will definitely be back. I think the place deserves more recognition for its food and value for sure! Perfect place for those on a budget, a satisfying meal and quick service! Only downside I can point out is the cleanliness of the tray, I found mine to be quite dirty the last time I went there, but that’s about it!
The cutest place ever with great, friendly service and cheap but quality food! They do the best chicken lunch boxes for only $11. The main reason I keep going back!
I have been here several time and it has always been great. Many food selections and good price. I like the beef box and the donbouri. Gotta try there food here.
Best value for money Teppanyaki. Family of 4 $65. We’ve tried most items. Yet to be disappointed. Highly recommended for that quickly midweek lunch if you’re in the City.
