Partied a few times at the Roxy, always enjoyed myself. Never once have any dramas happened and staff are friendly and helpful with lost items. Had food once and from what I remember it was alright, nothing fancy.
I’m a fan of The Roxy, what a great spot to party! They have cool gigs and a great selection of drinks. I’ve not eaten here before so this review is more about the environment, service and vibe of the place. Great set up with multiple levels, awesome vip section and stylish intimate decor.
Been to this place a zillion times as this was our Social Club spot during my time at Fonterra. I go to Roxy once in a while to catch up mates. Great staff, love the chicken dish and good ambiance upstairs.
Really fun place. Staff are great and able to deal with very tipsy office staff incredibly well. Went recently on a corporate social club night type thing. Was good, nibbles were good also and they had a decent selection of whiskeys.
Really good find in the inner city – cool fitout and the staff were really friendly and accommodating I was surprised to see she was new. We had a vast choice of seating options over several areas and nothing was a problem. Would have loved the courtyard had I been a smoker, however as ex-smokers that’s the only downside on a still night.
Recently visited Roxy, it was really good experience. Food was really good , service was Upto the mark and staff were friendly too. I would recommend Roxy if you want to go for nice few drinks and dinner.
Originally I had selected Everybodys in Fort Lane as my preferred venue for my 26th Birthday and being so popular it was unfortunately fully booked. The newly renovated Roxy Lounge was offered by staff as an alternative and was by no means a compromise. Being the first time in this venue, both my guests and I did not realise what a terrific night we were in for. The Roxy bar has an ambiance and class that exudes from the moment you walk through the door. We were fortunate enough to reserve a section of the new outdoor terrace which is a fantastic space to host a group of people and well worth considering for any event. What really sets The Roxy bar apart from others is the quality of staff and high calibre of service to a level I have yet to experience at any other venue in Auckland. The Manager personally greeted us, introduced us to an almost dedicated barman and both constantly checked in to ensure that we had all we needed for a memorable night. The bar food that was ordered for the group was top notch, the lotus root chips with wasabi mayo were exceptionally enjoyable as was the delicious cocktail menu. This all coupled with a fantastic re-fit and an upbeat but relaxed atmosphere made the night an unforgettable experience. My guests and I would certainly recommend The Roxy to anyone as a potential venue, place to enjoy an evening with friends or for those that are lucky enough to have as their local bar.
