Good Service. I ordered acai bowl, it was good but it was on the runny side, would have been better if they used frozen bananas. There were lots of fruits in it as well.
The lamb shank with mashed & vegetables was lovely; the pancakes with bacon, banana & maple syrup, as dessert were excellent to finish our unfinished lunch we earlier had at Pilkingtons. (Food – 3.5/5; Service – 4/5; Ambience – 3/5)Visited on 6 May 2019
This place has good food, but the portion size is excruciatingly small. I tried it through a lunch special app and had a Ceaser Salad. It was good in taste, but it also had a quarter of an egg. Yeah you heard it, it had quarter of an egg. It felt like quite a rip-off, that meal. Although the food was good, I’ll probably not go there again.
A quaint little caf, Shortland St offers some nice savoury and sweet options. The rustic atmosphere coupled with friendly service will prompt you to return, however, they did take a while to complete our order of just two drinks, a matcha latte and an iced chocolate. Both drinks were prepared well though.
