Tried this on Commerce Street a few years back and loved it, so I was excited to see it closer to home at Northcote Tavern.I opted for the Deluxe Burger and I loved the flavourful, juicy beef patty with melted cheese on top. The lettuce and tomato were fresh, the bun was nicely toasted and crispy and the addition of the grilled pineapple was a nice touch of sweetness. Fries were delicious and I loved that they offered chicken salt as well.

Fairly average I thought. Bun was too crispy for my liking and needed a special sauce instead of just plain tomato. Patty was ok but nothing to rave about.
The White Lady has always been a town favourite and a classic for those who spend late nights around town especially in need of a post-party feed. Can get quite busy at times however the service is fast and efficient and is well worth the wait. They also have a variety of sauce for fries and chicken salt too which is handy. Tasty burgers that use fresh ingredients.
