Absolutely recommend!! Had the houjicha ice blended and the chiffon cake parfait. Portions may appear to be smal compared to the price, but I felt like it was worth the spending. It is divine

I visited here around 2 pm on a weekday. No customers at the counter so we could order straight away. Eating area was not crowded.A short after before starting to eat, I noticed that I received a wrong item from what I wanted. I checked the label on the container and it clearly showed the name of sweets that I ordered. What’s the purpose of labeling? I notified them and they changed it swiftly. Somehow my lucky feeling of the smooth start was crushed. The taste? The first couple of bites gave me nostalgia of Japan. That’s all. If I pay this much, I want more quantity. My image of parfait is more gorgeous one. I also found the crunchy rice bubbles was annoying to eat with other ingredients in the parfait.

First time ever visit here had lots of beverages and deserts to choose from. LOVE their Matchas and Houjichas. Houjicha tasted similar to earl grey tea. Tried their new matcha crapes. Had more of a creamy taste than a light/strong matcha taste. Soft ice creams recommended 🙂

Got the matcha parfait. Matcha soft serve and the rice balls are both my favourite foods! The rice balls are super chewy and tastes amazingggg. Also the soft serve isnt too sweet which is good, and the red bean balances the taste out. It was $10.80 which is quite expensive for the size, but the quality of the parfait justifies this price!

There has been so many people crammed in this place since it opened and I finally got to check this place out a few days ago.I enjoyed my green tea soft ice cream, the green tea flavour is strong, the cone is crunchy and sweet. just be aware that it leaves a green stain on your teeth for a little bit but its easy to wipe off (thank god!). The slices in the cabinet looked appealing as well.If you don’t like green tea or matcha taste, there are other tea or flavours available to choose from but it is limited.Service was very friendly even when it gets very busy, keep it up 🙂

Definitely overrated in my opinion. The drinks were OK, but for that price, I’d much rather drink a Starbucks frappucino. The cake was ok too. Nothing was bad, but nothing stood out.

Auckland finally stepping up their Matcha game. This parfait has 99% DNA of Japan’s 7 Eleven parfait. Yes I’m comparing this to a 7 Eleven, that’s cause everything matcha ice cream in Japan is 10/10. The matcha ice cream was bitter with a slight sweetness which is how it should be done. None of the shitty super sweet vanilla-like matcha ice cream. The matcha new York style cheesecake (6/10) had all the beautiful texture and mouthfeel of a great NY style cheesecake but the flavor was lacking. It wasn’t sweet enough and therefore didn’t really bring out the matcha flavour. The houjicha soft serve (10/10, $6.80) was amazing though, roasted matcha was very obvious balanced out by the perfect amount of sweetness. The matcha sponge cake (6/10) was light and fluffy but was very bland, while the cream was bitter from the chunks of grapefruit peel. They just need a bit more sugar.Tsujiri milk ice blend (10/10, $8.50) was super refreshing, creamy, rich and packed with matcha flavour. Best matcha drink I have had in Auckland. Overall, the soft serves and drinks are 10/10 but I will pass on the cakes next time
