Food:3/5Service: 3/5Overall: 3/5I ordered pork ribs with rice noodles. It tasted really bland at first but the more you ate you could taste the flavour. However, there were lots and lots of rice noodles but not many ribs given. There were also 2 quail eggs and one fish ball but they were slightly over cooked so they were all very soft. Liked that they put some dry tofu slices and bean sprouts at the bottom of the bowl though.

Zhou’s alley restaurant was clean. Fried chicken pepper was good but cold noodle was below average I think food is not the best. Not bad for cheap lunch out I guess. Conveniently located

Underground restaurant tucked away in an alley off queen street. The server was nice to explain what kind of things were served and how spicy. Had a help yourself kind of setting for the tea and bowls and cutlery/chopsticks which I found very convenient to be honest. Decent portion, prices about $15 each which is good for what you get, but I have had noodle soups and fried noodles cheaper at certain places. Unfortunately the broth of the tomato beef noodle soup had a subtle taste, a lack of flavor pretty much. The fried chicken noodles were equally as bland. The chili on the table we added to the noodle soup made it marginally better but it still tasted like spicy hot water. It isn’t surprising as the food came out within 5 minutes. All in all, I wouldn’t come back but it was still cool to stumble upon.

Came in for lunch with mom today. Ordered a scallion pancake and some fish noodles. Noodles came with fish, a fish ball, quail eggs and a tofu fish ball. Broth didnt have much flavour. Pancake was very hard at the burnt parts but it did have flavour.
