Very nice wontons.. one of the best i have had in auckland. Only thing is you don’t get sweet and sour sauce with them, you have to ask and the sauce they give isn’t great. Also they make a good chicken chowmein. I pay extra for extra meat.. is worth it
Nowhere near as good as it used to be. In comparison to last year the food here has lost its value and standards. Fried rice and chow mein not worth its price with half filled containers and minimal quality ingredients. You pay for chowmein not noodles and sprinkle of vegetables. Drive to green jades if your wanting good Chinese food in Avondale or even the Cantonese takeaway if you want good fish n chips & burgers. Don’t waste your time or money at this takeaway.
I’m a regular here and love the chicken burger! They have the best tartare sauce which I love alongside the chips. Gets quite busy in the evenings though so best to make a phone order. Edit: Recently they’ve been burning the burger buns and not just once but nearly every time I’ve gone back there. Unimpressed.
Nice place to go of you are into cheap eats. A traditional Chinese takeaway with whatever you can imagine being deep fried. I myself tried the fish Burger and chips, all for $6.50. Everything was good enough considering the price. the fish not too oily, but overcooked, and most of the chips were not saggy.
