Amazing Japanese joint. Fresh sashimi amazing beef in the bento and gorgeous teriyaki chicken. Great value for money. It has a really authentic Japanese feel with the layout. Cute place to go on a date or for a casual meal.

Came here for dinner on a Friday night. It’s aCompact place, with a homely feel and a sole chef who will happily make your meal. IOrdered a beef bento with salmon sushi. The size of the nigri was a good bite size. The meat tasted fresh and made with attentiveness. The vegetable tempura was delicious and cooked well. The beef bento was like any other bento and i’m fine with that as I didn’t have high expectations going in. My only complaint would be more options with the sushi, however if you want a nice small sushi place with a kind homely feel then come here and enjoy it. There’s nothing especially amazing but that’s fine for the standard price range.

Been a regular at Cafe Sushi for couples of years. If I ever crave fresh salmon sushi, I JUST HAVE TO go here 🙂 Reasons:1) SALMON is super fresh, tasty and full of texture (it also depends on the day of the week. Since there were times I dined here everyday so I kinda know when she would have the freshest salmon)2) AVOCADO is also carefully selected too. Ripe to the right extent3) RICE is nicely well seasoned. Not too sour or too sweet. Texture not too dry or soggy/sticky.***Assumptions made: Provided that the cook is consistent in her cooking and that you visit the restaurant at the right time of the day, right day of the week. ;-)Bon Apptit all foodies amis!!! And keep on eating!

Awesome little restaurant, I go here usually one or two times a week and I have never been disappointed. The woman who runs it is really nice and obviously an awesome cook. My favourite dishes so far are the sashimi donburi, any kind of sushi and the salmon nigiri.Highly recommend to anyone 🙂

Really nice little place. She cooks the food in front of you which is nice. The food is really fresh, nice, and not expensive. A really good place for a lunch, although you will have to wait a bit.

Small place but freshest sashimi ever tasted in dominion road. Nice tempura as well. My favorite Japanese dish: Kastu don ( pork), which they do in different way with Mayonnaise and I LOVE IT :3
