Accidentally ordered from the balmoral location instead of city and was scared the food wouldnt be as good, based on the reviews. Was pleasantly surprised! Preparation was very fast, food arrived hot and delicious. Their beef tongue is best Ive tasted in Auckland. Other bbq skewers are great too, not too chewy like other places. Cant say much about the karaoke but food does not disappoint.
Karaoke was really cheap!!!! But most of the food can not be swallowed.The skewers were really salty, but manageable paired with beer and alcohol.The rice tasted like it was from a freezer, or from aaaages ago. Lots of lumps and bland topping. The noodles were bland too and not very tasty. Bottled drinks were good, but the house made ones made me want to vomit. Good place for party but not for dining. Always oder take away bbq delivery to home. I really love the tendon and squid. The chicken wings are very nice too. Mild spicy is enough for me, but others rice and noodles quite normal…I was gave their 5 star before today but they gave me a totally burnt chicken wing is this supposed to showing on Customer’s table i don’t think so. If i was dining in restaurant i’ll definitely ask for another one. But i ordered delivery,so i can only post here. Hope they can focus on food quality
Pros: Food is tasty and well portioned. Drinks are good. Price is very cheap for karaoke. Happy hour is 5 – 9 so there is no room charge but $20 per person which includes a meal and drink. Facilities clean and sound system is good.Cons: really grumpy and downright rude service at the desk. The lady honestly couldn’t be bothered taking our orders to begin with and then when we went to pay, saw they overcharged us but instead of apologising and taking it off the bill, she started yelling at us! Wth! Really shocked. She kept saying the price is really cheap and we should be happy … why when you’re over-charging?!?!Highly recommend checking your tab before you pay.
