I am a regular here and have only had positive experiences. The owners are always friendly and the cakes are amazing, so much better that what you’d get from a chain cafe. They are always patient and welcoming with my very needy little dog too! Great local cafe to support.I seriously suspect that some of these negative reviews are not authentic, especially since the wording of some reviews is suspiciously similar to others – almost as if the same person is writing them. The coffee is better than most places and the food is excellent.
This is my local and I come here semi regularly. It’s a small cafe so it can fill up quickly, usually on a weekend morning it can be hard to get a seat. The food is great and the coffee’s good. Dog friendly and good service.
Thought we would try this small local today as I was craving pancakes. OMG not sure I’ve come across a better or more tasty home made food place. Great portion sizes for the price and everything was delicious. Could do with an update if you cared but if you are there for the food then tables don’t matter.
This place has terrible customer service. I visited twice for weekend coffee. I went in greeted them good morning first with smile but they didn’t even greet me and were abrupt to death. Everyone one of them (owners and staff) stared at me as if I am an alien from far far galaxy 1000 light years away and just handed me over the coffee off you go. I hate energy drink but every weekend, I’d rather drink V than buying coffee from most unfriendly place in the world.
This is my local so stopped for brunch , ordered the euro breakfast , it came out very fast within 5 mins which was nice, it’s huge – have had it before as well never been able to finish it – they almost need to offer a mini version or 1/2 portion. Everything was nice – edible – nothing fancy – no frilly bits but a perfectly good brekkie , the let down of this place is the way it’s presented ,tables and chairs need updating – they just feel a bit budget , the shelves are dusty and the children’s toys are absolutely filthy! They probably need to just be thrown away at this point . Just minor cleanliness and presentation things letting this place down, the guy behind the counter was pleasant and friendly. It’s got a lot going for it – the ready made treats in the cabinet look delicious ! They just need to make a few changes to update the look and cleanliness of the place
I Love this place , great food and coffee, dog friendly always feel welcomed by the staff and leave totally relaxed.The outside area is perfect for those sunny days. Keep up the good work guys it’s a little gem.
