We absolutely love this place. Best curries this side of the bridge. The chicken tikka masala is my favourite. Plus the cheesy garlic naan, delish! Highly recommended. Go for medium spiciness at least, otherwise it can be a bit sweet.
WOWWW , leo just made me a tikka masala which he specifically catered for my heat level and the flavours blew my mind . everything tastes crisp and fresh and not at all greasy and sweet like over shops in the area , hands down the best curry I have ever had
Stop what you are doing and go to Curry Sutra right now!!! Best curry in Auckland! We moved to Beach Haven two months ago and have had their curry once a week (sometimes twice) since then. Our all time fave is the lamb saagwala – full of flavour and goodness. This is closely followed by the butter chicken and goat curry. Cheese naan is soft, fresh and delish. I love how we can ask for mild curry and still get all of the yum. To top it all off, always tip top service.
First Time here after being recommended by our friends.Hands down some of the nicest curries we have had. To make it more mentionable, the chef recommended a better option than I was looking for, his own Tikka Masala that he made and gave me a sample to try before finishing the dish off to ensure he had the right amount of heat. This guy is passionate about his curries no doubt. My wife had a chicken Korma which she also said was top notch. So, Curry Sutra is our new curry house now. Highly recommended. Cheers
My family gets food from Curry Sutra all the time and it has been amazing every time. The staff are always friendly, the place is clean, and the food is incredible. Fairly priced too! The menu is diverse and provides you with a range of different meal options. One of the best food outlets Ive ever been to, if you havent tried Curry Sutra you havent lived.
Not like the other Indian outlets which just have indian in their name. Serves authentic Indian dishes with enriching aroma and most importantly served on time. Not to forget the Madras prawn I had there.
Hi, Second visit review.buttered chicken, beef Korma and chicken tikka masala.garlic, cheese and Keema naan with cucumber raita.and 2 deserts, Gulab and a ras.all great tasting, ample portions.one meal and a couple of naans is a good 2 days and even better the second day.I had the goat the 1st time, nice and tasty.good people, always helpfuland ready to answer any question and make recommendations.will be looking to try the vegetarianmeals next, lots to choose from.great work Curry Satra.Andrew
