We were quite surprised by the outdoor seating on the balcony around the back of this cafe. It is as so hot today we dicided to sit outside.I really like the marble tables and that they provide cushions if you need them. The wait staff were friendly and helpful but the food service was a tad slow.The burger meal was a surprise as there were two instead of one big burger. This made it a lot easier to eat.The salad dressing was tasty, I only wish there was more of it. The risotto cake lacked flavour and I thought there would be two of them. The hollandaise sauce was very nice and lemony.They also had a nice selection of cabinet food as well.
Birkdale is so Barren for good cafes or bars ..and this one doesnt help …..its so dark and depressing walking in here …it needs a serious makeover and customer PR reset …it could do much better here ….coffee ok …:toilet lets this place down …big time ..like trying to find a buried treasure ,through a series of hallways and stairs ..and all dimly lit …time for a change …
