Absolutely disgusted. Came here about a year ago and thought it was good. Been here twice since and the quality has gone down badly. Got fish n chips last week from here only because our local was closed. The fish was not edible!! It was actually off!! It smelled aweful and the next day we had such a bad smell in the kitchen from the stuff being in the rubbish that I vomited. Besides the rotten meat, the batter is not fish batter. It is so thick you cant find the fish. I was seriously fd off AF after spending $50 on this rubbish. Never again.
Love this place! My friends and I come up to Botany Road Seafood often during lunch at school. They are so consistent with their food, always crunchy and fresh and delicious! My favourite item from their menu is their Chicken burger, so delicious and the chicken is perfect and crunchy <3
We’ve been going to Botany Road Seafood for years. Best we’ve found in the greater Howick area. Usually a choice from Snapper, Terakihi or Gurnard , fresh and nicely battered or crumbed. Fish and chips the old fashioned way!
We have been going to Botany Seafood for years. Always good and we have never been disappointed. It’s the best fish and chip shop in the area by far. Fish is always fresh and the chips are crispy and tasty too.
Crunchilicious?!!I love chomping and crunching on some crispy hot chips!My local Fish and Chip store, Botany Road Seafood is outstanding in their consistency. The chips, fish and fritters are always crunchy and hot. Their batter-to-fish ratio is spot on and the freshness of fish is surprising for a takeaway joint.Showstopper: CRUNCH! Overall Grade: B+
