Love-struck…. the instant I laid eyes on the beautiful staff behind the counter, it was like something from a romantic film I just couldn’t keep my self together and what made it even harder to focus was the selection of picture perfect food, it truely was real life food porn. I stuttered as I ordered an incredibly delicious dinner for $6 and I was left even further speechless as the goddess serving me gave me extra ( what a beautiful human both inside and out ) it was so yummy, so so yummy. I love browns bay dining I truely do. Excuse me now while I reflect on my amazing dinner.
Exceptionally delicious food! The potatoes are amazing, the lamb is tender and tasty, and the portions are generous. We routinely drive from Takapuna to go here because we haven’t found anywhere else nearby that is as good.
My partner and I come here all the time and we can honestly say this is the best roast shop we have ever been too. The meals are great value for the price and the food is amazing! I always get the lamb and it is delicious! They also have the BEST potatoes I have ever had! The service is always really friendly, would recommend this place to anyone who wants a really yummy roast dinner without the hassle of making it yourself!
Awful!! Ordered 2 meals and drove the 2 mins home only to find the chicken was pretty much cold, definitely not a safe eating temperature, especially for a woman who is 7 months pregnant. We tried to remedy the situation but were given the worst attitude by the owner! Pregnant mamas- beware this dodgy place!!
This the best roast shop in Auckland and the only place I go for a roast meal.Food is always excellent and the potatoeshave a beautiful crispycoating that makes the best spuds I have ever eaten. Service is also friendly and top notch.
The best roast shop IN THE WORLD as far as I am concerned, my entire family have been loyal customers since we moved to Browns Bay. Since we now live in Melbourne AUD, we are yet to find a decent roast and we’ve been here for 3.5 years! The best potatoes in the land and great variety of veggies and meats unlike many roast shops that only offer you chicken and peas. Can’t go past this place! Service is always good.
Excellent food quality and personal service by the owners, Sandra and Steffie, for take out or dine in their quaint cafe.They are always so friendly, and make me feel right at home. Personal favorite…their chicken thighs and their roast potatoes, plus they are going to do chili meat balls on Thurs/Fridays! Will try that tomorrow!
