My favourite bakery in Pukekohe. Watch your step upon entering; theres a raised lip in the doorway. The shop is bright and clean. You’re faced with large self-service cabinets and an inviting selection of goods. I haven’t encountered a disappointing item yet. Their pies are simply amazing; the mince filling in the mince and cheese pie is so rich and flavoursome. The bacon quiche is a delight too, loaded with juicy bacon, tender egg and cheese. The rolls and sandwiches are fresh and generously filled. Chicken and chips… so good! Oh, and the custard slices and cream donuts are delicious – the best Ive tried in ages. Staff are so lovely and friendly. The only downside is parking can be a drag sometimes, as they’re nestled between several other busy shops and a stones’ throw from the High School.
A great bakery with awesome, friendly staff. Pies have flaky, buttery pastry and meaty filling (not too much gravy). The donuts are perhaps the best I have EVER EATEN!
The staff are very friendly and they engage with their customers. This is one of the reasons why people keep on coming back here aside from their delicious food. Their fries are the best in New Zealand. Even if it’s not fresh and soggy, it is still delicious especially with some chicken salt. I also love how they allow customers to buy frozen goods to take home so they can heat it at home to enjoy. Their prices are reasonable and their pies are good. Although the chocolate muffin was a bit hard and I think it wasn’t really that fresh.
