Food is consistently fresh and tasty, and there is lots to choose from ready or made to order. Staff are lovely and polite. Casual and relaxed atmosphere.
I was impressed with Hiroba sushi teriyaki bento box $15 but it was definitely worth it for money- fresh, one of best tempura ever tasted in Auckland, loved salad, chicken teriyaki sauce was bit strong but goes well with plain rice. I liked small slices of salmon as well also they serve really good miso soup 🙂 i’d definitely come back.
Great little place.The service is always lovely & welcoming.I stop in at least once a week to order the Chicken Katsu on Rice with Salad for dinner.And for $12.50 the portion size is very generous.Would definitely recommend.
Great service, great food. Service was friendly; especially the owner :), they were quick and comfortable to order to. Had 4 of us come down here and we all loved it. The salad donburi is my recommendation, fresh salad and delicious meat. Definitely coming back here again 🙂
Worst meal I’ve had in a very long time. I ordered a vegetarian meal off the menu, the person taking my order had no idea what it was and ran around asking colleagues, I then had to point in out on the menu. I was charged for the food and told it would be a fifteen minute wait (after I had already paid). When I said that I could not wait that long and asked if there was a quicker meal I could order instead he ran around again asking people and came back saying no, this was the quickest meal they could do. I was standing right next to a salad bar that had tofu and rice! After waiting the fifteen minutes I was given an extremely sad looking meal, very small, no seasoning or sauces, not at all worth $10.00. I will never eat here again. The employees are obviously the children of the chefs, way too young to be working/ have no people skills or time management at all.
