Best coffee in pukekohe and the shakes are fantastic too. Vegetarian friendly meals and friendly staff. Be sure to try this place at least once

Took my Mum and Aunty here today and had a great experience. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. We had some special requests which they were more than happy to help with. Would be a great place to take little ones as there is a cool little playground right outside complete with water features. Food, coffee and tea were all tasty too. Definitely worth a return visit

I had the Special Grilled Salmon with Soba noodles, absolutely beautiful. I am a regular here and love the fresh flavours. The staff are friendly and always very attentive

We went to Yakety Yak on Saturday morning for a brunch, weather was superb and the glass window in the side really gave us a nice exposure to the sun.We ordered pulled pork burger, eggs benedict salmon (supposedly el Benedicto), and gf orange cake with plum. We thought the flavours of pulled pork burger were quite nice but prefer the veggie crisp to be less oily. We would prefer our egg a bit runnier, and our cake to be heated. We had a bit of miss-com in the beginning which caused wrong dish has been made, we originally plan to order the el benedicto but the order being taken as eggs benedict with Salmon. They handled it well by apologise and offer to cook the El Benedicto, but I said no thought I did not want to waste food (We wont be able to finish everything). Instead, they gave us coffee vouchers which were quite nice of them. Service was quite goodw with staff being friendly and helpful. We would probably be back to try other dishes and the fact that the atmosphere were quite nice.

Was really excited to try this place out, however, the service was office from start to finish. The first worker that interacted with us spoke in a condescending manner whilst stared at me in a way that made me super uncomfortable. Second server approached as when we were ready to order, and said did you order drinks yet to which we said no and said our order. After the order, all she said was okay and left with the menu. Similar attitude when giving the order. Throughout the whole thing, we reacted in a civil and respectful way towards them as we thought that they might be busy and working under pressure. What made this whole experience worst was that I witnessed the servers greeting other customers in a nicer way and it made me wonder if we were treated like that since we looked different in comparison to the majority of the customers there. Regarding food and drink, it was okay although the mocha was a bit burnt.

Love the vibe of this place. Great for the kids as it is right next to a small park. I often grab a cappuccino on the weekends and I am yet to complain, good coffee makers there . The sweets look absolutely delish but I am yet to try them.

AMAZING! lovely atmosphere, super friendly helpful staff, delicious wholesome food and GREAT COFFEE! So many healthy options and the chef is super obliging with my constant deviating from the menu. The El Benedicto is a must try and the Single Origin coffee!
