THE BEST HOTPOT!!!! I’ve tried many places, but none of them like this one! They made their own soup base which is awesome! Most importantly once you try their soup you will NEVER want to go to other places any more!!! Service is great and price is decent! 5 people went one time only cost about $140. Highly recommend restaurant!

Went here for lunch. Nice decor. Service was good. I would definitely recommend their deep fried savoury donut sticks. Really crispy and airy. Absolutely delicious. The other tables got soup noodles which looked much better than the vermicelli pot and sauce noodles we got. I wouldn’t recommend the vermicelli pot or the sauce noodles which lacked serious flavour.
The key point of an authentic hot pot always is the primary soup. Most of hot pot restaurants make the soup with water, seasoning and some fresh or dried vegetables. But Night Talk added some dried herb in order to present a rich tasty. Price was not cheap, but reasonable.
Such a nice and cosy place with very cute and clean decor! This is probably my favourite steam boat place around east/south auckland – I think the restaurant’s rating on here doesn’t do it justice There is a good selection of foods to pick from and staff are welcoming and helpful. There is even an English menu to choose from which is great for those that are not Chinese We chose the split half soup as my boyfriend is a spicy eater and I’m not. They serve tea free as well – and it opens late on weekdays which is convenient also
