Notice this outlet sometime ago while shopping for bathroom fittings a few weeks ago if we hadn’t walk by we wouldn’t even know there was a restaurant.here..it was lunch time so we decided to give it a go ,going up a flight of stairs to get to the dining area a very strange set up tables.. set up before a entrance to a massage parlor even their menu a little confusing?but They did have a old fashioned pork trotter and egg vinaigrette dish on the menu which was ok but a small portion for the price a variety of rice rolls which was also passable but the curry chicken on rice dish hard to work out? A few slice of chicken in curry sauce no vegetable ?also a smallish portion but edable don’t think management really know how to run a restaurant? As we have to ask for chopsticks and spoons when the food was served!! Maybe not in to much hurry to try again

As the previous review said, there are not much varieties for the congee. I dont really mind that there is a massage parlor right beside it on the second floor, but it is weird and awkward. They dont have much staff, actually there is only one waitress which I think is the owner. If you dont count her 7ish year old son writing homework at the counter as staff.

This place was relatively new. I went to this place a few weeks back with my parents as their friend reccomend this place. This is one of the few Congee place in the eastern area. The place was abit akward, because half of the place is a resturant and half of it is a massage parlor, and there is nothing that seperate the two. I honestly feel bad for the customers having a massage, as they are seem with a robe walking around while other people are eating. There is no service at all at the resturant. The owner feels like she is higher up at the store and will not take my order or do anything, she just stands there and observe. We waited for like 5 minute and there was no one to serve us, so we just took a sit at a nearby table ourself. There were just us and another table with an old couple. With that kind of service I can understand why there are no customers. To make matter worse there are no lights in the toilet. Now to the congee, The congee was very watered down. It wasnt great. Well…there was nothing else I can comment about this, because so so watered down that I couldnt taste or eat anything. There is close to no variety on their menu. Just about 6-8 options for congee and about 5 or 6 friend noodles dishes and thats it. Finally to the point why I gave it a grading of 1. The lady owner there saw us came in, I was not aware if she saw our car. But the issue is that called the car towing company to tow our car even know I was eating there. I was furious, at least she could have asked if that car occupying that space was ours or not. There were only 2 tables!! it doesnt take much effort to ask us. Overall terrible food and terrible service. We not return AGAIN!!

Great authentic Canton food, one of the best rice roll () places in Auckland! I ordered a Rice roll with prawn and Seafood combination congee for lunch. Came out steaming hot and freshly made – was tasty and filling while also not being too oily/unhealthy. Noted that they’re located upstairs and next to a massage place, and customers usually have to get the cutlery themselves from the front. However, the menu is okay-priced and delicious. Will definitely be coming back to try their other dishes!

I went there mainly for congee while I was sick. They have varieties of congee and they are tasty. Gonna find a time and try their other dishes.
