A small Korean restaurant near home. We ordered two kind of meat and a bibimbap. The food is delicious and the pork is tender. What surprised me is the side dishes! There are more than 10 including a crab and steamed egg. We almost finished all of them! Price is acceptable, 80 for two. And will come back and try other food!
Outstanding Korean BBQ in east Auckland. Largest variety of sides dishes of any place I’ve been to. Each side dish is made with care and taste great.Quality of the meat was fine. They have a 1 meat per head rule so bear that in mind when ordering. So yangnyeom galbi was the best of the three we had. Super tender and heaps of flavour from the marinade
Disappointed with our second visit – we were told upon entering the restaurant that to be able to dine in,we must order BBQ meat corresponding to the number of people that were dining. We were on our way to a road trip and we weren’t craving a heavy Korean BBQ meal, so not thinking much of it we asked if we can order takeaway fried chicken instead, and the response was no we must order the minimum order. The first visit a few months ago was really good the food was yummy and good quality and I dont recall of this ridiculous rule being in place maybe it was because it was a Friday night/weekend or they get crazy busy (there were only a couple of tables occupied) but not even accepting takeaway orders left me lost for words.
Had the korean bbq here with my family. The price is slightly above average but the meat and the side dishes that they give are of a high quality. The service was nice as well, the waitress checked on our first batch of meat being cooked, which was a nice touch. There aren’t many tables, so booking is recommended.
