I was very hesitant to order here based on many bad reviews posted, but I always have that feeling of giving it a chance. Reasons why reviews are opinions and we all have our own; I love fried chicken; when I called for preorder, the lady named Taylor was very patient and pleasant while getting my orders knowing that it was a very busy day during that time (I hear heaps of people at the background ordering). And I called again to advise her that my husband will pick it up and to cook it at a later time as I want our chicken and chips fresh and she happily agreed. Once our orders arrived, I immediately ate 1 chip and it was piping hot but good! Right then and there, I know it was cooked fresh. And even their chicken nibbles are really, really mouthwatering! I wasnt even hungry but I finished more than half of my orders. Apologies. I forgot to take photos of the food as we are very excited to try it. We are very satisfied with Shens takeaway. Recommended!UPDATE: Changed it from 5 to 4 stars. I ordered again but it wasnt that great anymore. I also tried their fish and chips it was good. I guess its a hit and miss in terms of taste.UPDATE: Freshly cooked chicken is really good! Their Roasted Pork Belly is a must try as well. They just need to improve their gravy sauce.UPDATE: Love their Beef & Veggie with Black Bean Sauce
Cheap, but that’s about it. Everything else is poor, from customer service through to the food. I really didn’t like this place. I once seen the lady behind the back drop a raw chicken nibble on the ground, I had been watching her to see what she was going to do. SHE TRIED TO ACT LIKE SHE WAS THROWING IT OUT AND THEN THROUGH IT INTO THE DEEP FRYER. Keep in mind I had been watching her the whole time. I ended up cancelling my order and asking for a refund. Never go there again
