New Year’s eve set menu. Entree seafood chowder and avocado prawn. Both tasted good even though the avocado prawn was colourful. 2 eye fillet steaks were cooked perfectly. My own comment would have been a little bit of carrot would have added a bit of colour. Dessert of the cassata was pronounced excellent and the tiramisu was lovely too. Service wonderful. I thought the portion size looked small but in realty, I couldn’t have eaten another thing after finishing the menu.
It is more of a 3.5 for me, especially for the portion sizes (regular/small) compared to prices (high) though as we had a nice family dinner here, hence giving it 4 stars, We had mozzarella Caprese (pesto was ok) garlic focaccia and Milan style risotto (tried this in Milan many times and here is good) our mains were veal, chicken pasta and Venison, some tiramisu and affogato, all well cooked and seasoned, the venue is pretty nice as well as the view, the staff are kind and friendly, if anything I will increase the portion sizes for entree and mains a bit 🙂 considering the prices
Beautiful food, but at the prices are so extreme that we wont be repeating the visit. Apparently I need more characters to publish this review, just like they needed more tomato and pesto to go with the mozzarella
