Stopped for lunch today filthy dirty tables covered in used dirty plates no clean tables to sit at girl behind counter tried to talk to us with her mouth full of food!! Pies incorrectly labelled wasnt keen to refund for this stamped her feet!! Ordered a toasted sandwich never turned up Vegie panini filled with raw veg even when toasted wouldnt refund for this!! Cutlery was washed under tap and dried on apron then handed to us hygiene was disgusting and cost a fortune I would never eat or go here again

Awesome service from this place I phone ordered not a problem great price $12.90 breakfast great food clean and simple will be back on way thru again for sure

Popped in for an early lunch. Pumpkin soup served with garlic bread sounded great. The soup was pumpkin coloured dishwater and the garlic bread had no discernible garlic flavour. A very disappointing meal especially for the price ($9.90).

Popped in for breakfast on way home from AKL, I ordered eggs benedict for my husband and said with only 1 egg and 1 slice of toast with it, and I will have the waffles please, sounded ok when she tried to read it back to me I thought. when he came to the table with 3 plates, one with 2 poached eggs and muffins as the eggs benedict looking lovely, one with a poached egg on toast, and my plate with the waffle on it. We tried to explain it wasn’t right, the lovely eggs benedict disappeared tho and we thought what the heck and went to the counter to have it out with the chick, she tried to say its all our fault, ended up giving us a cash refund after my husband raised his voice a bit. Language barrier issues all round. We have been to this caf before and never had a problem, previous owners tho.

An impromptu stop for lunch, and a decision to relax and let the traffic pass us by on Auckland Anniversary Weekend led us to the Autobahn Cafe at the BP Service Centre, SH 1, Dairy Flat. Good decision, excellent food offering, the filot roll with bacon and mushrooms was brilliant. Most impressive were the helpful and friendly staff – and the coffee was outstanding!. Well worth a visit – we will be back… actually better than the Wild Bean Cafe!
