Monday night and I was gasping for a good vege fix. Pleasant young kiwi girl on the counter took my order of combination chop suey and a pineapple fritter. Owner (or his wife perhaps) was sitting behind the counter talking loudly in her language on the phone – not welcoming! However, food was prepared within 7 minutes and I have to say – it ticked all the boxes! Fresh, appetising, huge variety of vegetables and meats, topped off with plenty of cashews, and the pineapple fritter was light and crisp with a gentle dusting of sweet cinnamon. I’ll be back again for sure.
The food here is good to start with, but they use a disgusting oil that taints all the food. I don’t know if it’s old or the type they use, but it leaves a bitter taste in the mouth and it ruins the meal. If not for that, the food would taste great.
