Our visit to Stone Oven was unintentional, hoping that it wouldn’t be a bad one. There weren’t a lot of customers on a Monday afternoon. We had a seafood chowder with garlic bread, a roast pepper soup, an open steak sandwich & an Angus beef burger. The pepper soup was terrible salty & had to be sent back. The meat of the sandwich was absolutely unseasoned. Luckily, the lemon slice was good. An average rating was perfectly justifiable.(Food – 2.5/5; Service – 3/5; Ambience – 3/5)Visited on 11 March 2019
Nice menu. Good selection but generally overpriced in my opinion. 2 eggs and toast expensive and soup of the day was overpriced especially as the bowl was so small. Garlic bread which came with it was an afterthought…forgot to bring it out. Mango magic was however very tasty!
