Came in for lunch today. Environment was what made me want to go in and eat. It was warm and cozy inside. We ordered a chicken and mushroom pie with fat chips as the side and a snapper risotto. The pie crust was nice and crispy and the gravy was delicious. The mushrooms were tender. However the chicken breast was dry. The fat chips turned out to be wedges and the whole portion size was huge. The snapper risotto was creamy and the snapper tasted herby.
Great location along the main road at Devonport. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was reasonable and good portions. We love the lamb rack and the wedges we ordered. But not really keen on the Pork bites….as they were literally fat portions concealed in crunchy coating. Ambiance was not too bad……I wouldn’t mind coming back to try their other meals.
