Went last night and enjoyed some great platters, we weren’t sure about the wine we wanted so were offered a tasting of 3 different reds along with detailed information about them, very rare to get such service and we were very impressed. The service was faultless without being in your face and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely be back to try more.
Vondels has a nice vibe, attentive staff and good food. We ordered the vegan tacos, cauliflower tempura and the vegan cheeseboard (we tried to order the fries but our kind waiter let us know we had already ordered more than enough food). The tacos were great and the wine of the day was delish, the cauliflower was a little too deep-friedfor me but the sauce was tasty. The vegan cheeseboard was quite good, it almost converted my mum!
We went here for lunch and we loved the food, the service and pretty much everything about Vondel’s. I had the vegan taco’s and my Husband had the best vegan burger I think we had ever eaten. The wait staff were so friendly and happy that we walked out smiling. We will be going back for sure and will be trying their dinner menu. Note: Vondel has a lot of plant based options but also caters for everyone.
