We were in a rush to get our road trip to Wellington started so we didnt get time to try more of their board menu items but the cabinet food we good were amazing the service was good was a very busy little cafe but smiling faces of the staff told you they were having a good day definitely have to go back here to try more of there gourmet meals
Its good place to have lunch with so many options. Always have new menus. Tried this poke bowl recently. Everything is good apart from the portion size is too big. Couldnt finish it
Great little cafe in a busy area. Nice to have a cafe there as there aren’t many options.Good range of salads & pre-prepared meals to eat in or takeaway. Also some menu items.Today we had the crepe which was nice & 2 salads for one meal. You can choose multiple when you pick the large size which is good when you can’t decide.The spicy chicken sandwich was not so nice – 2 pieces of bread with the chicken & like a ‘chow chow’ chutney on top. Not what the menu suggested, and wouldn’t order again.Coffees were nicely made & service good.
An attractive, busy cafe with lots of food items on display and a fairly thorough menu. I had a latte and daughter tried their mint hot chocolate , both were excellent. We ordered a rocky road cupcake, a sausage roll and chorizo scrambled eggs with wilted spinach. The hot food seemed to take forever to arrive at our table, so when the waitress served hot food to a table of 3 who had arrived after us, we enquired about our order and it came soon after. The food was tasty enough, I probably wouldn’t order scrambled eggs again, would try another menu item. The cafe is roomy with 3 communal tables, lots of seating and large windows to bring in the light. I’d visit again and hope that the food arrives a little faster next time.
We had a veg falafel which was quite nice. Greens, onion, mayo and chickpea stuffing made the dish delicious. However, we wanted to order a pizza but couldnt as the kitchen closed at 1pm.
Friend and I came in as they were closing but were nice enough to serve coffee to us. I enjoy coming here it’s a great place to come for a catch up with friends and folks.
My husband and I went for an early breakfast before work on Friday. Pretty busy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the cabinet food. A wide selection. I ordered the eggs and bacon, a choice of white or brown bread was offered and I was even happier when it was Vogel! I looovvvveeee Vogel! However my poached eggs were over cooked so I didn’t get that yummy runny yolk spilling out when I cut into it. Husband ordered the eggs benny with side mushrooms and spicy sausage. Was pretty good and his poached eggs were perfect. Coffee was great, value for money? Not sure, husband paid while I browsed at what else they had to offer I will definitely go back to try other dishes.
