Always lovely, warm service and deliciously crispy chips – definitely my favourite takeaway store in central Auckland! You can always count on the owners to answer the phone, cook your food to perfection and have it ready on time, all while being extremely welcoming. A must for chip lovers!
Customer service was great . Food was tidy and everything tasted delicious . A bit pricy but would definitely recommend this place to everyone .
Just moved into the area and slowly exploring all the food options. This place is definitely the new spot for us! Super fresh super crisp – fries and fish! The fish (not sure which one came with the combo) was suppppper soft and just melted in ya mouth. The only negative was that it was still pretty oily- if they just left it to hang a little longer or even wipe some off, wouldve made that much difference! Other than that it was beautiful and will have to call in to order next time to avoid the wait! Nothing worse than watching others walk in after you and leave with their food before you lol
Been coming here for years. Fresh fish with great batter. The chips are gorgeous; they’re even really tasty when they’re cold. The food isn’t greasy. The owners are warm and friendly.Highly recommended.
A little disappointing. Perhaps the oil temperature is off??? I didn’t end up finishing what I ordered. Sandringham outlet was little better. Am I up to 140 characters yet?
Haven’t been here for years since moving away from the suburb. Picked up take away this evening and it was so good. The shop itself doesn’t smell oily which is a winner. Fish battered fresh to order and other choices of prep are available which is good to see. Our fish was crunchy and light and the chips were too. Will not leave it so long next time
Chips here were great! They gave us quite a lot and everything tasted pretty good. It’s close by so planning to come here on days I crave fish and chips.
