Bought a chocolate creme delight from me. Really moist. Guests all live it. Great value for money. Will definitely come back for more in the future.
Passionfruit Torte, one of the best cakes from Cake Passion. My husband loved it..I’ve had a few cakes, all were very delicious….totally recommended…
I have to say these guys always have the best cakes and best price for a decent cake especially short notice you can roll up to this shop like I did 30 mins before heading to the birthday dinner with cake in hand. Awesome cakes and awesome service.
My husband is really picky when it comes to chocolates cakes so when we tried the chocolate creme cake he said it was the best chocolate cake he had ever tasted. It’s now his fav go to place for cake. Tried Eclairs and banoffee which are yummy aswell.
So 2 family get togethers in one day calls for a trip to Cake Passion! Cake Passion has been at Botany Junction for many years – the most recent owners adding other items to the range such as brownies & other pastries as well as coffee. It really is a go-to place, with more superior options than The Cheesecake Shop, but not too much more expensive. For many of their cakes they have large, small (rather than buying 1/2 a cake), & also some cakes by the slice.I have tried their coffee previously & it was good – nicer than I expected as I wasn’t sure how often they made it not being a sit down cafe & with a busy Wild Bean cafe so close.Today we chose the Passionfruit torte which was delicious. It had layers of vanilla sponge which were very light & moist with passionfruit cream between layers & on top. We had passionfruit at home so added this as a topping but it was fine alone. We also had the chocolate creme gateau for our second function, which was similar to a Black Forest but without the cherry throughout. Again a very nice light sponge with chocolate cream layered. They seem to use a butter cream as it doesn’t go all hard & gluggy like the Cheesecake Shop ones do. Both yummy options & a nice, tasty easy alternative for those special occasions.
Good. Price is high.
I remember buying cakes from here a couple of years ago, and absolutely loved the banoffee pie. Came back recently to try it again, as well as their lemon meringue pie, and definitely was not disappointed. I think the banoffee pie may have changed since the last time I bought it? Regardless, these two pies were delicious, not excessively sweet, and very enjoyable.
