Fish and chips never be my thing I have to say. But this one was so good, fish was fresh, chips and and was golden and crisped. Kumara chips was good too. I love going back there for more.
I’ve been going here for over 10 years and I can confidently say for a local fish and chippy, these guys have been consistentlymy go-to for a good, cheap, fast and friendly meal. All their deep fried food is amazing. I see negative reviews over the burgers they do. They’re a fish and chip shop, don’t expect burger fuelquality burgers – if you want a good burger,go to a burger joint, and don’t expect them to cook you up a mean fish and chips. All in all – if you’re spectacle about going here, give the ‘fish and chip type food’ a try first, you shan’tbe disappointed.
So I read the reviews before I came and was thinking what have I put myself in. … I had to go here because everywhere else was closed so this was the last option.Ordered chicken and egg burger, ham and egg burger and chips. Chicken and egg burger – was very saucy and oily but onions were nice in it.Ham and egg toastie was not nice and oily. Was not enough ham and just tasted bland. Chips were oily as well and tasteless couldn’t even eat it.Overall would not go back but had to try it as it was a last resort.
