The cafe has a friendly and bright outlook but the wait staff and the lady that seems to be the manager is rude and have no shame openly talking about you. If youre not an upper class white lady .. dont bother going because the service youll receive will be appalling.
I was really disappointed in the service here. The owner wasnt helpful and was really rude when it came to serving my friend and I. The waitstaff then continued to talk openly about us whilst we were trying to enjoy our meal. The food was pretty good (although a little overpriced) but the service was a real let down.
Hands down mg favorite cafe! I come here often and am never disappointed. Friendly staff, great coffee and great food. Their menu is varied and no matter what I order, I am always satisfied. It’s not my local, but it’s worth traveling for.
There was nothing that was good about Stanley’s. Coffee was bad, food not much better and service was appalling. Apparently one is supposed to order at the counter but there was no sign nor did any staff member let us know so we sat there like a couple of idiots for 20 min waiting to be served. We would have walked out if we weren’t meeting friends here. Really disappointing as I really wanted to like this place.
Nice and sunny place to have brunch or lunch. Stanleys pancake is so tasty as itself(without any syrup or jam). Also their banana milkshake is one of the best milkshake Ive had in a while.
I like the aesthetic in the cafe, I think it is pretty cute. The staff are friendly and the service is reasonably quick. The food is filling albeit some interesting prices. The coffee is pretty decent here so its nice to have this little cafe up the road.
We went there for lunch. The waitress ignored us and we had to go to the counter to place our orders. We had a pasta from the cabinet and the creamy mushrooms. The food tasted ok at the time but unfortunately I had diarrhea a couple of hours later. Unlikely to go back again.
