Went to this cafe for the first time this morning after a lovely long walk; our omelettes were large in size, but tasted average and were not cheap in price by any stretch; but within three hours we both had very upset stomachs. The cleanliness of the place is not up to scratch by visual appearances and the clear food covers on the scones look very grubby indeed. The coffee is the only aspect that was nice. Wouldn’t go back again.

Worst Cafe I have ever been to. The food is awful, looks like they use stale buns for toast, hollondaise sauce from a packet, and my fried eggs were raw. I took my eggs back to the counter and showed the lady serving that they were still clear, she asked if I would like another one, I said no thanks (as it really wasnt enjoyable), then a man came storming out of the kitchen and having a go and me, and saying that people liked runny eggs, I said that runny is fine, but my egg whites were still clear. He was so rude, aggressive, and dismissive (basically telling me I was wrong). I can’t quite believe any cafe would be so rude to a customer who politely said her egg wasnt cooked. I would avoid this cafe at all cost. In the spirit of fairness I will say the coffee wasnt bad.

RATED I would never refer this cafe to anyone. I ordered pancakes and I got crepes. My friend who had ordered French toast got a fruit salad with 2 partially burnt toasts. Another friend who had ordered chicken sandwich got a cold sandwich. Only one table was occupied by customers yet all the other tables were not even cleaned with 2 of them having used dishes. We had to especially ask them to clean the table. We were served food by the same person who cleaned the table wearing the same plastic gloves that were used to clean the table. When my friends asked for more sugar it was literally thrown onto the table. The service is worse than the food. Wish I could rate them in minuses.

Came here with my wife and children for a late lunch on Father’s Day and was left thoroughly impressed by the meals and service. Highly recommend the mochas, ‘works’ burger and fries as well as the apple pies for a sweet treat afterwards. Friendly service. Will be coming back in the very near future. Thanks

Worst lunch ever.Went here on a Sunday for lunch. The pie was cold, (ok warm), they reheated it and it was then soggy. The salad was hardly a salad, with sweet thai chilli sauce as the dressing. Kumura, bacon, feta salad – I ate the kumara and left everything else behind.Do not go here!!
