Pretty standard looking fish n chip shop. . . But awesome fish n chips. A bit of a wait – worth it in my opinion. Parking can be horrendous, seems its the only decent takeaway place in waiuku
Made an order this past Friday. Ordered over the phone and was told 10 minutes. Order actually took over 15 minutes. I see from other reviews that lying about how long the order will take is a common thing at Fitzy’s so take that in to consideration when ordering (I hate standing round in a packed hot chip shop waiting for an order that should already have been ready). The other issue was they didn’t include items we had ordered. A big let down when I got out to the bach only to find items missing – which again from other reviews seems to be a common thing to happen with Fitzys. The food we did get was okay though – a bit oily but edible . I’ll be trying somewhere else next time I’m getting fishn chips in Waiuku.
