Staff and service was great… one slice was yumm but the other was dry and a little chewy. The sausage roll was past its best, coffees were luke warm and the tea average. The decor could be really cool but is in need of a little tlc unfortunately
The quirkiness of the Vintage Cafe in Waiau Pa is great, but the food is sublime! Everything is freshly made by the food mad team there. (Their lasagne is better than mine!) A good place for a stop on your travels. It is a well-kept secret by the locals I think.

Really enjoyed the food, wished I couldve finished all the big breakfast!! The staff were lovely too. Only downfall was there were 2 tables that needed to be cleared. We had a big spill on our table, where the staff were happy to help us clean up and then moved us to the next table. After promising to clear the table we were moved to, the dirty plates were moved to the side and left next to us. But admittedly we didnt mind too much! Overall, loved the food and cute vintage decor
