Better than KFC!The chicken truffle parmesan was something different and enjoyable. The gnocchi was disgusting. I even added the duck and the duck was a bit dry. Gnocchi texture was not nice. The chicken wings tasted like countdown and was super hot. I worry it mightve been microwaved. Buttermilk, Korean chicken and chocolate fondant was nice. Will be back again and order the stuff I like. Service: 4/5Environment: 4/5Presentation: 4/5Food Quality: 4/5 (hit and miss)Food Quantity: 4/5Price per person: $50-$60
I ve been hearing good things about this place for a long time so decided to come and check it out.Came there with a friend for a quick bite around 6pm Monday. It wasnt busy there maybe about five tables or so. Finding parking just outside was not a problem. Interior is nice and clean I liked the fireplace. The service was prompt and friendly.Food.We ordered Korean spiced chicken thighs as a main (with chunkies- which was roast potatoes) as a main $20. The chicken was tender with a pile of kimchi on top and two leaves of corriander. The kimchi was overpowering and you wouldn’t taste anything else but the sauce. Didnt see any fennel there -well it was all red. Korean food seasoning is more than kimchi and roasted unseasoned potatoes didn’t do the trick for me.Duch beef krokets $13 were crispy outside and filled with soft beef. Pity there was not much of seasoning or sauce and Salsa Verde served with them was too thick and intense for the dish in my opinion. The side dish of the day $8 was Button mushrooms. They were caramelized and deep fried drowned in sweet chilly sauce. Unfortunately neither my friend nor I tasted the mushrooms at all in this case.Coleslaw small $6 Was very good and it helped a lot.Maybe it just wasn’t my day but there are so many interesting flavours you can find elsewhere.Only after i wrote this review did I realise my bill should ve been $47 but for some reason I paid $53. My bad, I didn’t check the bill.
