From the owners thats brought you CareTaker in the CBD, where skilled bar tenders come ask you questions and conjure up a unique tailored cocktail to suit your individual tastes. Deadshot is an excellent addition to Ponsonbys growing night life.Knock back a few cocktails to kick start your evening before dancing away the night, Deadshot is an intimate setting which is perfect for dates and small group gatherings.Ill admit that I cant remember exactly what I drank but that usually is a good sign that the evening was a pleasant one. From what I do remember the bar lady that was serving us was awesome, she was helpful and explained quite eloquently the different taste and mixtures. She was also able educate us in our limited understanding of cocktail wizardry.Showstopper: Fantastic intimate setting, a perfect location to pick up a few drinks before hitting Ponsonby RoadOverall Grade: A-
Awesome place in Ponsonby. A must go. We had a night out with a friend. Friendly staff, great service. Good atmosphere. Small, cosy. We had whiskey (great selection) but the cocktails looked great.
Wouldn’t go anywhere else for cocktails in Ponsonby. Staff are really friendly and knowledgable – they ask a few simple questions so they can make the drinks exactly to suit your taste – no menu required! They also do a great little cheese platter if you are feeling peckish. Love it! Definitely check this place out, or its sister bar Caretaker in Britomart. You won’t regret it!
Brand new cocktail bar on Ponsonby road! Awesome bar with great cocktails. They seat you then serve. No menu available they ask what you feel like. Good cocktails!! Staff are friendly. Must try.
Unmatched service and awesome venue. However, the actual concept was lost on me. I had a variety of cocktails, and sampled a few others my buddies got, but didn’t discover any favourites. Cool place though to take a few mates and experience.
Amazing cocktails the staff are so clever at knowing exactly what you’d like to drink. Always the best service, all the staff are so wonderful. I love taking friends to this bar as it’s such a unique experience that never disappoints.
