Wondered around Ponsonby for quick lunch during Anzac Day but most places were shut and stumbled upon east and popped in for a quick lunch special – chicken fried rice for $9 plus a coffee frap for $5 , nice a easy and hit the spot ! Recommended and will be back !
I had the ma pa tofu was pretty 1 dimensional just rice tofu and scarcely minced chicken with special chinese sauce wasn’t anything excitingStaff did not wear uniform which is a big no no in terms of hygieneDinner companion had pad thai the tofu was not fresh quite hard and deep fryed undercooked noodlesI would not recommend there’s alot of better places on p road
Trying to find cheap n tasty eats in Ponsonby has become more and more difficult. We stumbled across East Noddle Bar on are way back from the gym. And what a find! Fast and tasty food at great prices. Recommend the terryaki chicken and Mongolian beef. Love how they added loads of crisp veggies.
