Fantastic lay out, open and expansive. Great seating in terms of solid wooden tables and comfortable chairs. Fairly priced drinks and an wonderful open bar, if youre after a first date place you cant go wrong with La Zeppa. You can move on from drinks to dinner seamlessly and the staff are nice. What does annoy me though is that the food is average. They do present their food well and the food came out hot. We ordered the Lamb Rump, Sesame Crushed Beef Koft, Baked Polenta, Grilled Broccoli, Baked Potaetoes and the Spanish Omelette. The rump was rather disappointing, a small piece of rump that lacked flavor and texture. Everything was rather average although what did stand out was the Beef Kofta, it had great texture and the taste spiced beef taste was awesome. Showstopper; Seasme Crushed Beef Kofta and the Polenta.Overall Grade: B+ everything was awesome except the rather average food.

The platters were nice and the vibe is amazing, but I found it a little too pricey compared to the portion sizes. They have good music and nice cocktails to enjoy so I would recommend people to have drinks and little sides.

Nice buzzy atmosphere. The tapas were really good (the lamb pinchos and pork cheek croquettes are a must try!) However portion sizes were shockingly tiny for the price charged (I ordered both a green beans and the grilled broccoli – $8 for each dish – one came with 3 stems of broccolini, the other with literally 10 green beans……)

Got two big plates and three tapas. It all tasted pretty good (except the pork belly which I wasnt too much of a fan). The portion sizes of the tapas were too small for its price though.
