Went to Legianz Bali for lunch today with a couple of colleagues. I was pleasantly surprised by how yummy the food was. We ordered Ayam Kremes and Nasi Goreng Kuta and they were both excellent dishes…very reasonably priced too. It doesn’t matter they don’t do ZG discount anymore coz it’s still worth it!! !!
Legianz Bali is tucked in a quiet corner in Victoria Park Market, Freemans bay. We ordered the Sate Ayam (chicken satay) and Ayam Bakar Legianz (grilled chicken with Ayam coconut sauce). Served with rice, pickles and simply blanched vegetables, it looked bland and underwhelming but once you’ve taken a bite, you would agree this is a little gem not to be overlooked. The chicken was succulent and the sauces were well balanced with enough heat from chillies. Authentic.
Situated in the corner of quiet Victoria market but the restaurant was really busy on weekend for lunch when we were there. The service was the reason I deducted 1 star. The young guys tried to give us service but the chef (old man) tried to let them work for him and ignored us. Oh well the food was great! Though how busy they were, the food came out quite quickly and taste so good. Seafood and veg in chilli sauce was a highlight! Spicy and tangy sauce was so good and the amount of seafood was on top for the price. Definitely recommend and will go back there again.
