The service at Longshot is fantastic. Every staff member is friendly and very welcoming. We get prompt service and the food and coffee always arrives soon after ordering. The vibe is great. The food is good, more variety on the menu would be great!
I enjoy this place for lunch. Its great! The service is awesome and the ambience is inviting. Oh the hot chocolate..is a must have. Totally enjoy the atmosphere n my friends company at this place. Try coming here for lunch…u wont regret it.
have been here before and the service was good. this time i went and had the sweet waffles. The server was really lovely and moved a heater over for us as she could see we were cold, the price is fair, the atmosphere in the morning is bubbly and lively, the food was amazing and i would definitely come back for more
I’ve always found the coffee (Allpress) consistently very good. The location provides a perfect spot to break your shopping or dog walking (dogs are very welcome). The friendly service is spot on unlike some other cafes along the strip. The focus here is on the coffee and they do it very well. Light sandwiches and snacks are also available.
I ordered a latte and a cheese scone. Latte came in s small cup and was burnt. The cheeses scone was so tiny it wasn’t even a mouthful. $9! Poor quality. Terrible value for money
Went with a group of four to Long Shot for brunch on Saturday – very excited about the new opening. Food was ok, smashed avocado really yum but tiny serving size and milkshakes were $12.50 for a normal milkshake with a few pieces of popcorn on top. Aside from this, service was shocking. It seemed like a huge effort for the young girl to serve our table and she clearly wanted to be somewhere else. When we arrived we werent given water so one of my friends went to get some and the waitress told her rudely to sit back down and she would bring it over. Then when she came over we asked politely if we could have tap water (not sparkling) and she rolled her eyes (!) and said fine. This was the extent of the service, no asking how the meal was etc. Waitress definitely needed an attitude adjustment…wouldn’t recommend this place at all.
I’ve always known the Long room to be a buzzing night bar during the weekend but today’s experience has taken it to a whole new level. My partner and I popped in for brunch today after hearing about the newly opened Longshot cafe. Don’t be fooled by its size as the seating options expand into the Long room which makes the setup a match made in heaven for day and night socialising. The atmosphere is really appealing and accommodating. With plenty of outdoor seating for small or large groups it’s perfect for any season as its well heated and also has a glass rooftop to let in natural light on a summers day. The service was impressive and our waitress Chelsea deserves a gold star to say the least. She was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. When tossing up between our options, her opinions on each dish made them so much more appealing. She knows what she was talking about but made it seem effortless. We ordered the Smashed avocado with an extra hash, a flat white and the Bruschetta with mild mushroom, goats feta and dukkah. Both dishes were very well priced compared to other cafes in the area. The smashed avo was beautiful! Good serving of avo and all the elements worked well together – really refreshing. The bruschetta was well stacked with mushrooms, which were very tasty with the feta and dukkah. The flat white was just right! With plenty of other affordable and appetising options on the menu we will definitely be back to try out more
