Long hair found in my paper rolls. Isnt it food hygiene 101 to wear hair nets or check your produce. I would love to have response. I love Vietnamese food so was a little bit disappointed in this!
Have been back several times, not disappointed always have the same dish which is the noodle salad with crispy rolls no7 on the menu think its calledbun nem, very generous serving and extremely tasty lots of the essential fresh herbs, well worth a visitjust for this dish, highly recommended, if slightly expensive $15.
The sour seafood soup and crispy chicken are my 2 favourite dishes. So authentic, the food quality is consistent everytime I go back there. Very deserved for a 5-star rating. Keep up great cooking 🙂
I’m a regular Wednesday goer to the Ponsonby International food court. The food doesn’t break the bank and I always leave feeling satisfied. I had the bun nem and it was really tasty and flavoursome! And the portion was massive.
Lemongrass chicken is amazing and their pho is very flavoursome. The only downside is that the price is restaurant pricing for a food court stall. Good for an occasional treat though.
Went to ponsonby food court for dinner and decided to give Mekong Vietnamese a go as it looked like the busiest place there! We ordered the Bun Cha (vegetarian noodle salad) which was really freshens and light. The portion size was decent and good value for money at $13. The wait time wasn’t too bad either!
When out for a walk around Ponsonby, we discovered the International Food Court, and I decided to try the Pho from Mekong Vietnamese. This was a great decision, as the pho was near perfect! It had the most delicious broth, with the meat and noodles cooked to perfection. I would happily live on this if I could. The atmosphere is that of a food court, but its a good place to go to try out different types of food, and most restaurants have a little buzzer that goes off when your food is ready. This saves you from having to awkwardly hang around waiting for it. Overall, a delicious place to eat, and Im looking forward to going again to try more of their menu. intrepidforays.blogspot.com
