Just stopped at Rupa’s for a long black, and opted for a savoury scone as well. I must say, the tastiest savoury scone I have had in a very long time. Good strong flavours, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, wicked with lashings of butter. Go Rupa’s!
Super cute little local cafe run by a gorgeous family. Everything seems freshly cooked, the food timings are great and the coffee is delicious. Seating outdoors could be a little more comfortable and maybe the addition of some planters or foliage would make you feel less like you were sitting on the roadside. This place is great for a midday lunch stop
Like mild coffee.ordered flat white. The regular one suffices. Medium one is really good amount if you are a huge coffee drinker. Nice on average. But the server was not very friendly.
Friendly staff, very welcoming, plus great prices, great food and excellent seating? Worth another visit. First visit, I took a very generous slice of apple and plum cake – delicious. Second visit, and I tried the lemon cake. Also brilliant.
I enjoyed my eggs on toast and the coffee was AWESOME, I will most def come back to eat here. I also liked the staff; very friendly. I followed my lunch with Banana loaf and that too was delish.
Rupa’s cafe is Freemans’s icon. Love colonial building- Dilip and his family runs cafe. Their organic cafe is good. Today i tried chicken wrap in panini wrap oh boy its basic but it was damn amazing. They now serve pineapple beef burger with chips and mince on toast which i want to go and try. In terms of their frozen $9.50 vegetarian curry is more than a world mung dahl and pumpkin with beetroot are my fav. $16 for butter chicken with plenty of meat and rich gravy. I try to avoid going there at 3pm due to school time since you cannot find any carpark.
Fabulous place, enlihtened barrista. Great food, super friendly staff ( and other customers ) make you feel most welcome and part of their family.
