Ordered UberEats. The french toast was boring and dry hardly any flavor and so little fruit. The Eggs Benedict eggs were perfectly poached and the salmon generous. However the sweetness of the brioche bread that it was served on was extremely sweet and overpowering. I guess more hollandaise would have taken the sweet edge off. Food was cold and maybe better packaging would help.
Big breakfast, budget frozen hash browns and budget shoulder bacon, not impressed, thought you would have used better quality ingredients. Really good coffee. Plenty of other choices along ponsonby road that make their own hash cakes and give you streaky bacon for the same price.
We visited Tartine Cafe for an afternoon coffee catch up with friends and absolutely loved the ambience. It’s a clean and cosy place with a fresh vibrant decor. I loved their outdoor space as it was open yet covered. The food was delicious too with great coffee as well. Definitely recommend and will go again soon.
Found this place through Groupon. It’s rally nice place to visit. Went here on Saturday morning with wife. Both of us loved the food we ordered. Also the coffees were exactly how we wanted it to start our day. Will definitely be back. Thanks
Love this cute little cafe in busy old Ponsonby. The location’s a bit of a hassle to drive into because of all of the classic Ponsonby traffic but the cafe provides a little carpark next door which makes finding a carpark super easy. The food is always awesome, massive portions for reasonable price and the coffee is also pretty decent! Lovely warm ambience and lovely staff. Definitely would recommend
I got something from the cabinet and was very impressed both with the quality and the price. I had something like a beef sandwich but more fancy? this was a while ago so can’t remember the exact name of it… but it had a lot of flavour and was much nicer than cafes normally provide. The price for it alone was a good, but then they gave me a nice salad to go with it too, which I definitely wouldn’t have expected for that price. It was a real bargain and a nice experience 🙂
Loved the decor and ambience of this cafe. Seating area outside the cafe is best for summer. Great selection of food and drinks and cabinet food. I had old is gold which is Benedict with smoked salmon, cooked to the perfection and my husband had chop chop which is mince beef was good too.Great service, reasonable cost. All together was very good experience.
