Their meat was a bit rubbery and dry. Love their chips though, definitely one of my favourite places to get chips from. Also love their crackle, only place I know that sells it.
It’s ok… it was my first time here I usually go to Stanley’s roast. I got a pork roast and it was abit burnt even the potatoes but it was ok I’m not that fussy still ate but il stick with Stanley’s from now on
I have been to many roast shops in my time and this is by far the best. the food is great, the people are lovely, they always give me more than I can eat and they are so accommodating to my fussy ways.if you haven’t tried them out then give them a try, you will never go anywhere else
Portions are excellent, service is great and the food is fresh. The meat is never dry and fills half a dish for the meals and roast rolls are just as good.
Great food! So yum. Excellence how it’s prepared in front of you. Good prices and staff are always friendly. Total recommend! Great for when you want a roast but don’t want to cook it yourself!
I come here when I forget to pack a homemade lunch. The staff are nice and even though the food is kept in warmers it tastes fresh. Its cheap and they’re not stingy on portions. They truly do a good kiwi roast, best crackling and full of flavour. There’s many options on how you want it served up. I appreciate how they will dice up the meat if you’re having a roll/sandwich cause from previous experiences, its really hard to each a roll with big thick slices of meat you can’t chew thru. Food: 4.5/5 (gravy could do with a bit more meatiness)Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 3/5 (its a takeaway shop. Its not really to dine in but they’re a couple seats if needed) Value for money: 5/5
