Spotted this place driving through GI. Went in today and happy I did. Lovely service from the guys. Great coffee!! Best mocha in ages. I liked the info that came with it. Breakfast was very reasonably priced. Plenty if people came in while I was there. Will definately be back.
Great find in Glen Innes! Excellent food and coffee, great service and friendly staff. My go-to dish when trying out a new cafe is typically Eggs Benedict and I was pretty happy with Eight Letters. The eggs and bacon were perfectly cooked, generous amount of Hollandaise sauce, a whole tomato and some greens and mushrooms. The mochaccino was excellent too. They even tell you the expected taste and strength and the brew method used. This cafe is definitely recommended and will come back.
It was the outside dcor of the caf that lead me in to try a cup of coffee at Eight Letters, on my weekly supermarket run I was driving past this caf intrigued that such a place existed in Glen Innes. After my supermarket shop, I made it a point to pop in for a fresh cuppa.Being juxtaposed next to Fruit World, I found the contrast between the two stores perplexing. Going inside the store I was immediately greeted by the staff at Eight Letters and we ended up having quite a nice chat. I ordered a coffee with a cinnamon muffin for $7 and off I went to take a seat. Observing the open layout some would say that things are a little messy but for me, it was relaxing and open. For me, Eight Letters gave a homely feeling and when my coffee arrived it was nice of the staff member to talk me through the type of bean that was used and that next time I could request for different beans to be used. My coffee was fantastic, it was the right temperature and had a deep, slightly sweet taste that just seemed to compliment my muffin so well. I thought the muffin on its own was rather average but the pairing with the coffee was fabulous. I have to be honest that I have an ominous feeling for Eight Letters, although they serve fantastic coffee, provide great humble service with a great open clean layout, it is inauspicious that they will get the foot traffic that this caf deserves. I would implore all coffee fanatics around Glenn Innes to stop by and try some fabulous coffee. Showstopper: Best coffee Ive had in Glen InnesOverall Grade: A
Good blend, and nice staff. The milk could be steamed a lil hotter. The feel could use improvement. Attention to some of the details around the cafe is needed (tidying up on the Reno, and plates and what not). Bad acoustics, so quite loud for only have 5-7 people in the cafe. Foods pretty decent.
Very cute lil cafe across from Pakn Save in GI! Staff are nice & welcoming. Especially nice on a sunny day and the sun shine right through the cafe . Coffee was good & coffee description unique & interesting. Eggs bene was yum, Hollandaise sauce a bit tangy & it did take a while for the food to come out. Although it was only my partner & I in the cafe. My partner had eggs bene as well & added sausage & the sausage was so good. Will be going again when we do. Nice little local cafe
I love this cafe. It has variety of my favourites. Coffee is so good as well as shakes and you can’t go wrong with their recommendations. Loving the kids area too and the vibe you get from the worker. Awesome cafe.
Been coming to this cafe for a few months and the coffee has been consistently amazing, easily the best this side of the city. The staff are very friendly and the food is great. Only let down is the parking lot can sometimes be full as it is shared with other businesses and it can be hard to find a park, however I recently figured out you can park at the pak’n’save across the road and walk over.
