This seafood fried noodle was the best I had in ages, so much fresh seafoods with tons of vegetables as well. And apparently it comes in chicken, pork, and beef I would highly recommended to everyone oh and free miso soup comes with it! The customer service was very good as well:)
James Sushi & Donburi by far has the best donburi, Auckland has to offer. The portions are humongous, it tastes incredible and not very pricey. For the best bang for your buck, this place is a must go. I would personally recommend their spicy pork and chicken katsu, but anything is a go at this restaurant. Trust me and go have a try.

Honestly one of the best sushi takeaways in the area! Been saving my review until I’ve had their food at least 5 times and each time was 10 out of 10! Highly, highly reccomend the chicken katsu and marinated pork donburi! Wayyy better portion, quality and price than St Pierres or Sushi Spring! Don’t forget to get some fresh hot miso with your order too! I always end up eating half the meal before i realise I should have taken a photo to post here (its just THAT good). Portions are big enough to get me stuffed, but if you’re not very hungry, still come in to have a look at their wide selection of sushi packs ready to go – take it with you before you catch the train or bus!Service is also great from a lovely couple thats always there to greet you with a smile – come in just to say hello :)If you haven’t tried James Sushi yet, dont wait!
Here is an amazing Japanese Takeaway Restaurant in Glen Innes. I ordered Beef Donburi it was so delicious and the staff was very friendly. Even some range of donburi and a can of soft drink is just $14.00. I guarantee you that this restaurant will never put your expectation down.
Had dinner at this little corner Japanese shop in Glen Innes. Surprised by the speed and the quality of the food. Us choosing the food took longer than them cooking it. The shop owner is really friendly. Served us water and miso soup right away. Although the food took way shorter than we expected it, the food is as good as a Japanese restaurant and way cheaper. It’s cheaper because they cut out all the unnecessary fancy plates and bowls, and garnishes. Their rice is proper sushi rice (soft and chewy), meats r reasonably freshly cooked, salad is fresh too, flavours are standard Japanese flavours. For the price and the quality of food, I would say this shop is a keeper. Will definitely go back again and recommend to others.
