This is our go to roast place for a few years now sadly the meat can be tough quite often but still tastes good and the peas are a bit hard as they don’t precook them first just put them in the hot water. But overall we keep going back and their potatoes are so tastyThe owners are really lovely and sometimes chuck in an extra potato and the fact that they always give you some crackling without charging extra is always a tick for my pork crackling loving partner. Overall there are worst roast shops close by so this one isn’t bad at all
Personally, this is the best roast takeaway Ive experienced in my life. Homely, filling and heartwarming theres something about this little place that makes me repeatedly come back. The older lady who serves me is always upbeat and although I feel that they can be more efficient with there serving and plating, I really love the food here. It is not the best roast meals Ive had and the flavor is above average but really makes this place stand out is the fried potatoes. The potatoes here are to die for. Literally.I usually get the roast pork or lamb, medium-sized and the special combo of two pieces of chicken and 5 potatoes. The pricing here is superb and you really get your bang for buck. I usually have enough for lunch the next day so portion size will not be a problem. Showstopper: Fried PotatoesOverall Grade: A

A tiny shop with a roadside coffee joint charm. Amazingly organised and lets say cluttered si to serve a wide range of tge usual rolls , sandwiches and packed meals. No sit down to eat space obviously so all takeaway unless you sit in your car! As I said a roadside charm. Didn’t have chicken the night I went last week. Probably not helped by some great deals or specials that will likely appeal to the family crowds. When on a chicken and fish only meat diet a bit tough. Chicken was a 15min wait. Ended up about 10 mins. If you like the King Roast sort of establishment then Roastworld is competitively prices good food but the space and lack of seating is a trade off. Still had a A hygiene rating.
